Bookkeeper
Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience using accounting software. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
