Billing Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Billing Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in billing or accounts receivable. You will be responsible for managing billing processes, handling customer inquiries related to invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate billing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and track accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments from clients.
- Address and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Assist customers with billing inquiries and provide exceptional support.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Generate and distribute regular billing reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all billing activities.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of billing software and systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Billing Assistant, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in billing software and financial management tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
